History
Establishment of Camelot® in Greece and Cyprus
In 1980 Camelot® is established in Greece and Cyprus and the distribution started here of the American cookware series Camelot® and Cordon Blue which our clients have loved for all these years and which they are still using on a daily basis after 38 years, enjoying the unique perfectness of every Camelot product.
Ίδρυση της Camelot® σε Ελλάδα και Κύπρο
Το 1980 ιδρύεται και στην Ελλάδα και στην Κύπρο η Camelot® και ξεκινάει η διάθεση και εδώ της αμερικάνικης σειράς σκευών Camelot® και Gordon Blue τα οποία λάτρεψαν οι πελάτες μας όλα αυτά τα χρόνια και τα οποία ακόμη και μετά από 38 χρόνια τα χρησιμοποιούν σε καθημερινή βάση απολαμβάνοντας την μοναδική τελειότητα του κάθε προϊόντος της Camelot.
Distribution of the first IMPERIAL in the Greek and Cypriot markets
In 1989 we proudly presented in Greece and Cyprus the first- generation IMPERIAL, manufactured in our factories in America. That IMPERIAL model was being used by the then President of America George Bush in his home and in the White House.
Διάθεση του πρώτου IMPERIAL στην Ελληνική και την Κυπριακή Αγορά
Το 1989 διατίθεται με μεγάλη περηφάνια στην Ελλάδα και στην Κύπρο η 1η γενιά IMPERIAL που είχε κατασκευαστεί από τα εργοστάσιά μας στην Αμερική. Το μοντέλο αυτό του IMPERIAL το είχε και το χρησιμοποιούσε ο τότε Πρόεδρος της Αμερικής Τζώρτζ Μπούς στο σπίτι του και στον Λευκό Οίκο.
Επίσκεψη στα γραφεία του NSF και της U.S. EPA στις Η.Π.Α.
Οι κύριοι Κώστας και Ηρακλής Αθανασίου, μετά από πρόσκληση του καθηγητή και ειδικού ερευνητή των ρύπων του νερού κ. Christian G. Daughton, P.h.D. US EPA, Office of Recearch and Development, National Exposure Research Laboratory, Enviromental Sciences Division Las Vegas, επισκέφτηκαν τα γραφεία της Υπηρεσίας Προστασίας Περιβάλλοντος της Αμερικής (U.S. EPA) στο Las Vegas και ενημερώθηκαν για τα νέα αποτελέσματα των ερευνών γύρω από την κακή κατάσταση της ποιότητας του νερού όπου και έγινε πρόταση στον κ. Ηρακλή Αθανασίου να συμπεριληφθεί στην ερευνητική, επιστημονική ομάδα του.
Επισκέφτηκαν επίσης τα γραφεία του N.S.F. και ενημερώθηκαν για τα μεγάλα προβλήματα του νερού.
Visit the offices of the NSF and US EPA in the US
Messrs. Kostas and Hercules Athanasiou, after an invitation by the professor and special researcher of water contaminants Mr. Christian G. Daughton, P.h.D. US EPA, Office of Research and Development, National Exposure Research Laboratory, Environmental Sciences Division Las Vegas, visited the offices of the Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) in Las Vegas and were informed on the new results of researches on the bad water quality, where a proposal was made to Mr. Hercules Athanasiou to participate in its research scientific team.
Απόκτηση Πιστοποίησης Ειδικού στην Ποιότητα του Νερού από το WQA
Το 2008 κατόπιν παρακολούθησης ειδικών σεμιναρίων και σχετικών εξετάσεων οι κ. Κώστας και Ηρακλής Αθανασίου απέκτησαν τα αντίστοιχα πιστοποιητικά ειδικότητας στα θέματα νερού: WQA CERTIFIED WATER SPECIALIST, από τον μεγαλύτερο παγκόσμιο φορέα το WATER QUALITY ASSOCIATION της Αμερικής. Έως και σήμερα ανελλιπώς όλα τα χρόνια είναι πιστοποιημένα μέλη με ειδικότητα πάνω στο νερό από το WQA με συνεχείς ετήσιες εξετάσεις και σεμινάρια για την συνεχιζόμενη πιστοποίησή τους. (Λιγοστά άτομα στην Ευρώπη έχουν την συγκεκριμένη πιστοποίηση).
WQA Acquired Water Quality Expert Certification
In 2008 after participation in special seminars and the relevant examinations, Messrs. Kostas and Hercules Athanasiou acquired the corresponding specialization certificates in water matters: WQA CERTIFIED WATER SPECIALIST, by the largest global organization, WATER QUALITY ASSOCIATION of America. Until today they have consistently been certified members with specialization in water by the WQA with constant annual examinations and seminars for their continuous certification. (Very few persons in Europe hold this specific certification).
